My brother, Dr. RICHARD NILES' career spans pop, R&B, rock and jazz as a recording artist, composer, producer, songwriter, arranger, conductor and musical director. He has also been a presenter, writer and producer of music documentaries for BBC Radio 2 since 1994. He has been called "one of the most versatile men in modern music"(Sound On Sound Magazine).

My mother, Pat Silver-Lasky aka Barbara Hayden was a film actress turned script writer.  She was married to singer/guitarist, Tony Romano (deceased), screen writer Jesse Lasky Jr.(deceased)  and is now married to Peter Betts who was marketing manager for Sanyo and is now an artist, writer and cartoonist.
